  6. This is a selection of News I've dumped in the period between
  7. January 1993 and November, 1994.  The selection is very subjective;
  8. I only saved things that interested me or were new for me.

  10. Also, I can't guarantee the correctness in any of this.  Much of the postings
  11. are of the kind where one guy asks a question, another answers and everybody
  12. else shouts: WRONG! Do like this instead...

  15.         Information on useage and 'hidden features' of
  16.         well-known Amiga applications.  Practically empty.
  17. amiga.arexx
  18.         Programming in Rexx on the Amiga, hints and help.
  19. amiga.compilers
  20.         Not-too-often seen information on how to use
  21.         programming packages, mostly the SAS/C compiler and
  22.         DICE.  Much on startup code and things like that.
  23.         A few useful hints on using SAS' debugger better.
  24. amiga.hardware
  25.         Information concerning the hardware; problems with
  26.         hard disks; why floppies click, ...
  27. amiga.humor
  28.         Satire and involuntary comedy connected with the Amiga.

  30.         More or less accurate answers to questions on programming.
  31.         Discussion on shareable library bases, much BOOPSI talk,
  32.         some example source.

  34.         Things to do with the system software. Hardlinks vs.

  42.         Witty or bizarre non-Amiga related postings

  44.         Articles mostly on algorithms and C programming style.

  46. I hope I've not offended anyone by releasing their articles in this
  47. somewhat more stable form.  I'm following the general rule that
  48. things released as Usenet news is redistributable unless otherwise
  49. noticed.  I've encountered one case where text actually wasn't
  50. 'freeware', and I deleted it (a programming tutorial by Udo "Kingfisher").
